Who needs some sunshine, Finn sailing and some great Greek hospitality?
In just over five weeks the Finn class returns to Greece for the 2023 Finn World Masters at Nea Iraklitsa, near Kavala, in the Municipality of Paggeon.
So far, it has attracted 132 entries from 29 nations, but time is running out to get entries in.
Early entry ends on 28 April, with entries and payments received after this date, if accepted, subject to a €100 late entry fee.
Hosted by the Kavala Sailing Club, this will be the second time the class has ventured to Kavala for the Finn World Masters. In 2015 the event was based in the centre of town. In 2023 it is based at the relocated Kavala Sailing Club, around 15 km west of the town of Kavala. It is an idyllic location in a typical Greek fishing village with an unspoilt marina extending onto 3-4 km of sandy beach, with a backdrop of many tavernas and small bars.
Lots more information and photos, along with entry list and details are here: https://finnworldmaster.com/events/kavala-iraklitsa-2023, but if you are thinking about coming, please get your entry in by 28 April. This is your final reminder.
It’s going to be great.
